Aubameyang assaulted in an armed robbery at his home in Barcelona

He left England and settled in Spain six months ago. In the meantime, he is going to return to London again. Whether to go or not, may take the decision later, before that, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had a terrible experience in Barcelona.

A group of robbers raided Aubameyang’s home in Castelldefels this morning. The Barca striker and his wife were at home at the time. The bandits took their hostages at gunpoint and looted valuable ornaments and money. Narrating the incident to the police, Abameyang’s wife Alisha Behagi said that the robbers who threatened her with iron rods also killed her husband.

According to the Spanish media El Pais, according to the Catalan police, 4 people entered the house among the group of robbers who covered their faces with cloth. They climbed over the wall of the garden part of the house and entered. After the robbery, some witnesses said that they saw them fleeing in a white Audi car. The local police started investigating the incident after receiving a complaint from Abameyang’s wife.

However, this is not the first time that Barca footballers have been robbed in the province of Catalonia, Spain. Barca striker Robert Lewandowski’s watch was stolen while signing autographs for fans at the training ground a few days ago. Earlier last year, thieves broke into Ansu Fati’s house while he was at Camp Nou. In 2018, Jordi Alba’s house was also attacked by a group of robbers.

Aubameyang, 33, joined Barcelona on a free transfer from Arsenal in February this year. He is likely to return to the Premier League even after leaving the Emirates club after falling out with Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta. Chelsea has shown interest in the Gabonese striker who has scored more than 300 goals at the club level.
